Girls Recreational
Overview
GSYSC is affiliated with the Lancaster Area Recreation Soccer League (LARS). A recreational player will play in either the U10, U12 or U15 age group, dependent on birth year. Please see Age Group page for more details. As a part of LARS, players will have approximately 7 games per season playing teams all throughout the Lancaster County. Games are refereed by certified refs and scores are kept to assist with establishing a fair end of the year tournament. Although the scores are kept, rec soccer is to assist with skill development in a fun and lesser competitive environment.
Practices:
Twice per week at the Petra Church fields from 6:00-7:15 PM. The nights of practice will be determined by each team's coach.
Games:
Home games are located at Petra Field, while away games are in a variety of locations through out Lancaster County.
U10 Games consist of 2 - 25 minute halves. 7v7 format
U12 Games consist of 2 - 30 minute halves. 9v9 format
U15 Games consist of 2 - 35 minute halves. 11v11 format
Cost:
U10 & U12 Registration Fee $115
U15 Registration Fee $115
Uniform Fee $50 ( includes socks, jersey and shorts)
